Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at The Realistic Cook. Because we sell digital products (PDF guides) that are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned" once downloaded, our refund policy is different from a typical physical-goods store.

Due to the Nature of Digital Products

All sales of digital PDF guides are final and non-refundable once the file has been downloaded or accessed, except in the specific circumstances below. Because digital files can be copied and used immediately, we're unable to offer refunds for change of mind, accidental purchase after download, or dissatisfaction with content style/recipes once the file has been opened.

When We Will Offer a Refund or Replacement

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We will provide a refund, replacement file, or store credit if:

  • The file is corrupted, defective, or won't open — contact us and we'll send a working copy; if we can't resolve it, we'll refund you.
  • You received the wrong product (e.g., checkout error sent you a different guide than the one purchased).
  • You were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate/accidental charge).
  • The product significantly differs from its description on the product page.

How to Request a Refund

Email us at therealisticcookbusiness@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with your order number and a description of the issue. We'll respond within 3 business days.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind after downloading the PDF.
  • Difficulty following recipes or dissatisfaction with content, once the guide has been accessed.
  • Accidental purchases reported after the request window above.

Processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 2 business days. Shopify/payment processor fees may apply depending on your provider's terms.
